I GAINED 20 POUNDS OF MUSCLES WITH HIGH-REP BODYWEIGHT TRAINING
People are still deceived nowadays by fitness and calisthenics influencers who make an effort to convince everyone that the high-volume calisthenics training method isn’t useful for hypertrophy and strength gains and that it works for endurance only. Keeping that in mind, I dedicated some years to the process to prove them wrong.
After a few years of dedicated basic training, my maximal strength and overall fitness increased enormously. I can do pull-ups with over 70kg attached and even one-arm pull-ups. I can muscle up with ease and hold even a Back Lever without ever training for it specifically. Moreover, I packed 20 pounds of lean muscles without ever consuming supplements of any kind, not even powders or vitamins. I did it all naturally and with proper food.
